Our dogs are primarily family pets and companions who live in the house with us. Both the youngsters are doing well with their training, they have been working on 4 local shoots during the season and we hope to enter some competitions with them in 2010
When we first had our dogs we lived in Birmingham and didn't know anything of the work these dogs are capable of and unfortunately did not get to understand and enjoy the experience of working a dog until we moved to Norfolk 2 years ago. Since then it has been a steep learning curve for us humans and I do so wish we had discovered it years before, there is nothing like it. It has been difficult at times with Henry as we came to it late and made a lot of mistakes that we then had to undo. I daresay we shall make more with the youngsters we are training now but hopefully not so many
We are members of The Weimaraner Association, The Weimaraner Club of Great Britain , North of England Weimaraner Society, HWVA, HWVCGB and The Norfolk & Suffolk HPR Field Trial Club.
